Curdione is found in turmeric. Curdione is a constituent of Curcuma zedoaria (zedoary). Curdione belongs to the family of Monocyclic Monoterpenes. These are monoterpenes containing 1 ring in the isoprene chain. Curdione plays an important role in the CYP3A4 inhibitory activity and curdione might inhibit the activity by accelerating the degradation of CYP3A4.
